Kyoshi Michael Tobin

Chief Examiner, Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu

Kyoshi Tobin, a former officer in the U.S. Navy and a retired Mendocino County Deputy Sheriff, is a 38 year practitioner of martal arts.  He owns and operates the Willits Body Works Gym and Martial Arts Center.  This is also the location of his dojo, Mendocino Okinawan Shorin Karate and Kobudo.  Kyoshi Tobin is well known in the Northern Calfornia area and works with the SAL (Sherrif's Activities League) non-profit program, which has made it possible for children in low income families to train in his martial arts school.  Kyoshi Tobin is based in Willits, CA, and is ATAMA's Chief Examiner for Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu.
