Sensei James Hiller
Sensei James Hiller-4th Dan began training in the Rayford Shorin-Ryu dojo in Sonora, CA. under Renshi Don Anderson. Sensei Hiller and his two children now train in the Rayford Shorin-Ryu dojo in Merced, CA. directly under Hanshi Sid Rayford and assists with instruction in the Rayford dojo.

Shihan Jim Staley
Shihan Jim Staley has trained in martial arts for over 60 years. He is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. His dojo is located in the Salesian Boys and Girls Club, wherein he has volunteered his teaching for almost 25 years. Remarkable to say the least.

Kyoshi Charlie Meder
Kyoshi Charlie Meder-7th Dan, is the senior student under Hanshi Sid Rayford in the Rayford dojo. He has a background in Kempo and also Shorin-Ryu. 3 of Kyoshi Charlie's children are also Black Belts and currently Kyoshi Charlie and two of his daughters are on the teaching staff in the dojo.
