Sensei Rick Travis-4th Dan of Ukiah, Ca. is a 40 plus year veteran of martial arts and is the Owner/Operator of Ukiah Shorin Ryu Dojo, a Matsubayashi system. He has several students including his daughter, who is currently a 1st Dan. Sensei Travis is also associated with and trains under Master Eihachi Ota.

Renshi David Silvers-5th Dan is the owner of Silvers Shorin-Ryu Karate & Kobudo in Springhill Louisiana. Sensei Silvers is well known for his tournament success in kata and kumite and recently gone to compete in Ireland through his success in the local GSKA Tournament circuit. Datu Marcus Dixon
Datu Marcus Dixon owns and operates Menehune Karate-Do of Elk Grove, CA. He is a 5th Dan and 43 year veteran of martial arts who practices the art of Kempo-Ji Do Kwan. He is a student of the late Vicente Tinga, who also was also a very close friend of Hanshi Sid Campbell and Hanshi Sid Rayford as well.

Brandon Fisher, Hanshi
GM Fisher is a 42 year practitioner of martial arts and was recently ranked at 9th Dan. Fisher Hanshi opened the Seijitsu Shin Do Kan Dojo in 2006, along with his wife, Stephanie Fisher. The Fishers are located in the Twinsburg area of Ohio and have several students learning the Okinawan Karate and Kobudo system, based upon Shorin-Ryu and tradition Okinawan weaponry. Shihan Kennedy Knuyen
Sensei Kennedy Nguyen of Stockton, Ca. is a 6th Dan in Shorin-Ryu Karate and is quite unique as he holds rank in both Kobayashi Shorin-Ryu under GM Sid Rayford of Merced, Ca. and the Kwoon Do interpretation of Shorin-Ryu under GM Dan Tosh of Brentwood, Ca. While attending school at UC Merced, Sensei Kennedy trained in the Rayford Shorin-Ryu dojo and is well known for having a machine-like work ethic. Sensei Kennedy is a highly talented young man in both karate and kobudo and was responsible for the growth and development of many others in the dojo.
